Love You to the Moon and Back - Auracle, by Auryn Inc, is an interactive storybook that will take readers to the moon and back. Love you to the Moon and Back offers three different storytelling options – read to me, read myself, and auto play. In the read to me mode the text is highlighted while the narrator lulls readers to a place of calm.
In the read myself mode if a child is stuck on a word they can tap on it and the narrator will read it aloud. Auto play offers the same functionality as the read to me mode with a three second delay for page transitions, which is perfect for those that are not quite old enough to flip the pages independently.
The interactivity is not overwhelming – tap on a part of the illustration to reveal a word. While not every part of the image is interactive, this simple feature is designed to reinforce vocabulary.
What I love about Love You to the Moon and Back is the central theme of the story. For a parent to be able to reinforce to their child that they are loved is something that will never grow old. Many other storybooks share this theme. What makes Love You to the Moon and Back stand out is its simplicity.
With illustrations that deserve to be framed and a positive message, Love You to the Moon and Back is a must-have addition to any digital library.
