Fuego’s River Adventure (iPad 2 only) by Crimson Apps is the first ever game for iOS where the user is the controller. The game gives a new twist to the iPad 2 gaming. By capitalizing on the front camera, players can now move around to interact and control a game.

Fuego has graduated from High School and is on his way to an exotic locale to celebrate when his plane malfunctions. He decides to jump and lands in an exotic jungle. From there, he builds a raft to travel down the river.
This is where the gamer comes in. By using the iPad 2′s front facing camera, move side to side to make Fuego move. Collect coins and food to get Fuego safely down the river to get him closer to the end goal of getting him safely home.
With 20 levels to play, there is plenty to do in Fuego’s River Adventure. The controls are surprisingly responsive for such a new innovation. One would think that using the front facing camera would result in some lag or inconsistency. There really wasn’t none of that, but it wasn’t perfect either.
While traveling down the river and sashaying left and right to collect coins and food or not get eaten by alligators, the app takes pictures which can be saved to the camera roll, or shared on social networking sites. While the test pictures that were taken were blurry due to the rapid movement, when the automatic camera caught a still shot, it came out pretty decent.
What Fuego’s River Adventure offers is a chance for gamers of all ages to enjoy the iPad 2 in a unique way. Often times gaming is a sit-down and use the hands type of pursuit. While the controls are good, they do take a little bit of learning to get used to. Once gamers have the hang of it, it’s quite fun.
Fuego’s River Adventure for the iPad 2 is a great value. It’s a great game to play with the family, with co-workers, or just for a change of pace from the traditional sit down and play game. However, with Fuego’s River Adventure, the whole family can get up and get moving – and have fun doing it. It is definitely the start of yet another use for the iPad 2.

This is so cool. I can see this being a huge hit. My kids are huge fans of the wii motion type games and I know this will go down a treat with them. Fair play to the developer for discovering the gap in the Market.
Looks sweet. Hope to win the promo code
Looks awesome! Hope to win!
Great app. Hope to use it with students.
This game looks interesting. Hope to win.
Maybe not the FIRST EVER where the user is the controller. Here you play with your hands free too, using the iphone/ipad front camera.
Doesnt use your body, as the Fuego’s River Adventure and also isn’t that funny/precise. However the concept is very good, and maybe it was the idea source to Crimson create his game.
I also liked this one, of course. Seems very funny to play.
Expect to win
