Miny Moe Car consists of three distinct activities; driving simulator, catapult obstacle race, and car maintenance. When children go into the driving simulator they will feel like they are really in control of their own car; the screen turns into a car dashboard where they look out the windshield an they can control things like steering, the radio, and the hazard lights.
The catapult obstacle race has children pull back a race car and let it go, very similar to the many popular physics puzzlers in the App Store. As the car flies around the track it will smash into an obstacle which then disappears. The child then has to pull it back again to move it further around the track, repeating at every obstacle.
The car maintenance mode in Miny Moe Car was the best part of this app for my girls. They loved cleaning the car, especially after a few birds had flown over it and left their signature. Players select a section of the car they want to work on and perform a series of tasks to accomplish that particular activity.
Some of the activities include repairing a tire, washing the car, and replacing a headlight. When all steps are completed, children are rewarded with a dancing bird and porcupine.
Miny Moe Car is a welcomed addition to our arsenal of apps to entertain our children, one both of my girls have been coming back to -recently, my five year old had a blast doing the driving simulator in her booster seat while driving to her grandmother’s house. Fun, simple, and featuring and adorable visual style, Miny Moe Car is a must-buy for the little wanna-be drivers in the family.
