Cell And Cell Structure

Middle school students will be engaged with the Cell And Cell Structure app from Emantras. This is an excellent resource for students in middle school just learning about biology and it make a great review tool for high school students as well. In addition to information, this app is filled with images, videos, and interactive activities to keep the student engaged throughout. Students can participate in activities that include quizzes, word searches, and flash cards.
Frog Dissection
Buy Frog Dissection Here
Frog Dissection has won many awards including PeTA’s Mark Twain Ethical Science Award. Middle school students learning about the organ systems no longer have to cut open a real frog, they can learn everything they need to learn by using the Frog Dissection app. Years ago, when my class got to the frog dissection part of our curriculum, I remember one particular student in tears because she couldn’t do it. Her and her entire family where vegetarians; doing this went against everything her family believed in. She ended up failing that marking period. Today, students in this same situation can follow step-by-stem instructions to simulate the frog dissection. Organs are displayed using 3D imaging and detailed information about that particular organ.
Rat Dissection

Rat Dissection is the follow up to Frog Dissection. Students will be able to dissect a rat on their iPad by listening to the detailed instructions given while they learn about the internal organs of the rat. Organs are displayed to the student with 3D images. Perfect for both middle school and high school students, Rat Dissection is a great addition to their educational app library.

Thank you for this offer, This looks great for my kids … TY again.
Sry was not sure if I had to tell you what I did –
I shared it on FB, Twitter and Google.
Thanks Dina!
These apps looks great. ! Would love to win.
Although I’ve thought of getting these apps, I haven’t jumped at it because my kids were too young. Now that they are older, the interest and science background are there where these would prove useful. It would be a boon to them to win this.
FWIW, we homeschool and the cost for all school material has to come from our pockets on top of paying school taxes so that public school can afford what they need, frog dissecting kits are rather expensive ($60 for all my kids to participate individually) so an app that’s a fraction of that cost is appealing (plus no stink)!
I liked your anecdote about the vegetarian, and can relate. One of my girls sits in this camp.
Tweeted. BTW – AppTudes really needs to use a URL shortener in their “tweet this” link.

I would love a copy of these apps with zseptember around the corner and the need to teach science along with the common core learning standards these apps would help support my students (who have disabilities) learn about science. Shared on FB and twitter.
